This weekend is the Annual UMD Student Exhibition, Reception & Award Ceremony in the Tweed Museum of Art. Students in the University of Minnesota Art & Design Department are celebrating the Art for Earth Day Gallery Hop along with other Duluth Art venues with open studios and this student art exhibit.
UMD art students invite the public to their open studio event on Saturday, April 21, 1-4 pm happening in Humanities and AB Anderson Hall. This family-friendly event includes ceramics wheel throwing, digital art demos, make-your-own mantra cards, a glow-stick photo booth, art education activities, and of course their Annual Affordable Art Sale.
Following UMD Open Studios is the the Annual Student Show Reception 4-6 pm.
